Harrod

Gold Mill may be a city of plenty, but there are always those who want more. Harrod was once such an individual. Tired of long days in the fields, the disenfranchised Harrod was easily led astray by a band of highwaymen who passed through his village. The way they freely spent their gold and had the bar wenches hanging on their arms sealed his fate. He would become a bandit. Five months later, Harrod’s less than lucrative bandit career came to an end when his band ambushed the wrong group of travelers. They attempted to shake down The Pious as the adventurers made their approach to Gold Mill. The Pious killed most of the brigands, but spared Harrod. It was the best thing that could have happened to the man. As the Pious lead Harrod to Gold Mill to face judgement, Zanne the Brilliant lectured and preached to the young man about absolution and redemption. Harrod took the message to heart, and struck a deal with the City Watch and Temple of Pelor. He would be inducted into the ranks of the Temple Defenders, but until he became a full fledged member, he would be spending his nights in the custody of the Watch. Harrod’s training is ongoing.
